5th Translator News - 2-07
WLIX is happy to announce that our 5th translator is up and running in Nassau County at 101.5 FM. This allows WLIX to reach a potential 2.5 MILLION listeners per day, as well as covering nearly 90% of all of Long Island.

New Translator 96.5 FM - 1-27-07
On January 27, 2007, WLIX signed on a new frequency translator, 96.5 fm. This new translator will give WLIX an extended reach into the east end of Long Island. WLIX will effectively now reach the entire Riverhead community and points beyond. This is WLIX’s 4th translator and it will boost our current potential listening audience to more than 1.5 million listeners.
