WLIX MUSIC MISSION STATEMENT: The very heart of WLIX is to glorify and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do. Our mission is to reach the lost with eternal message of God’s saving Grace and Love and to build up the Body of Christ. While nothing can ever replace sound biblical preaching and teaching to accomplish this goal and that of equipping the body, the gift of music is a powerful tool given to the church by the Lord Jesus to fulfill His plan. God’s gift of music is intended for worship and praise, as well as encouragement, edification, evangelism, teaching, admonishing and exhorting believers to live a life of holiness and to always desire to glorify God and worship Him forever.

OUR GOAL: WLIX is looking for men and women of God who share this same passion for music ministry. We are looking for individuals who count it a privilege to serve and represent the Lord Jesus Christ; who are driven by the Call, not by personal ambitions; by zeal, not by fame; by love for the King, not for the love of this world. Our goal is to help strengthen and “ fitly” join together (UNITE) this part of His body, to be a powerful tool in His hand to tear down the strongholds of darkness and trumpet aloud the glories of our God and King.

WHAT WE OFFER: As a member of the One Accord Music Network you will be part of a community of believers with whom you can fellowship and grow with. You will have an opportunity to join in on monthly fellowship meetings that will offer workshops, guest ministry speakers, worship sessions, ministry building and so much more. As a member you will also have access to our many Pastoral and Ministry Contacts that will be vital in helping to expand your ministry reach, as well as provide you with qualified referrals. One of the most important aspects of being a member is that WLIX will provide you with a level of accountability and direction that will surely prove fruitful in your growth. WLIX plans to produce and promote concerts, crusades, festivals and the like, all across Long Island this year. In doing so, we will look to our members to minister at these and many other functions. WLIX will bring back “The Saturday Night Café”, a somewhat live ON AIR coffeehouse in which our“ featured local artists” are members of the One Accord Music Network. Also, upon the completion of our website, members will be part of a web community that will take their music ministries to a level where anything is possible.
